bobby_kHeya, thanks for being matched with me (or just happening across my letter, I’m not fussed! LOL) I love Chocolate Box and I’m grateful that you’re offering one of the fandoms I’ve requested below.
I’ve listed my perennial likes and DNWs first, and then more fandom specific prompts later on.

Wang Yi Bo/Xiao Zhan
I only discovered The Untamed fandom in November, but (like so many others), it’s sucked me in so deep and I have so many, many Feelings about YiZhan! I love how obvious Yibo’s crush on his Zhan Ge is, especially the teenage-level bullying and especially the soft smiles he seems to keep only for Xiao Zhan. That moment at the Ten Cent Awards, when he couldn’t control his smile when Xiao Zhan sat next to him? That was as damn close to perfection as it gets! I feel like we need more fics from Yibo’s POV where that whole angle is fleshed out a bit further, because there’s nothing like a good fic about pining!
(Or really, just anything about that night, because damn, between the smiles and the sitting together and the supposedly swollen lips? That was such a gift.)
On the other hand, I also love how much Xiao Zhan adores and cares for his Bo Di. Sure, he’s got these plans for his career and I’m guessing a smart cookie like him has got everything planned down to the last detail, but(here’s a plot bunny coming up for you) his affection for Yibo is obvious. How would that play into his plans? How would he deal with the conflict?

The Untamed
Lán Zhàn | Lán Wàngjī/Wèi Yīng | Wèi Wúxiàn
What is there to say that hasn’t already been said about WangXian? I’m so in love with the way these two are so obviously in love with each other and the sacrifices they make, not just for themselves but for the people close to them.
One of the angles that I always love seeing more of is a resolution to that ending scene. Just what happens when Wei Ying turns around? How much time has elapsed? How does Lan Zhan reconcile his duties as Chief Cultivator with his desire to elope with Wei Ying? 16 years is a hell of a long time to wait, are we to believe that having found the love of his life, Lan Zhan would just let him go wandering without some way of keeping tabs on him? I know this trope has been explored from Wei Ying’s POV, but it would be nice to see how Lan Zhan dealt with the separation (we all know he’d be mad jealous so it follows that he might have some way of checking up on his Wei Ying).
Or, what about a wedding fic, where Wangji has to deal with all of his in-laws’ many, many issues? Would he attempt to reconcile with Jiang Cheng? Would Jin Ling bring Fairy? How would Wei Ying react? We’ve seen fics with Wei Ying trying to get on Lan Qiren’s good side, so (and I know that this isn’t really in the novel, but nevermind) how about Lan Zhan’s side of things?
If all fails, I do love a Modern Day AU (please, just no Coffee Shop AUs)!

God of Love/Man Who Doesn’t Believe in Love
Talk about an impossible task! How would a man who doesn’t believe in love attract the attention of a God of Love in the first place? And why doesn’t he believe in love? Is it heartbreak? Plain old cynicism? A weariness because of the superficial nature of modern love?
Also, what is a God of Love anyway? How does he influence his believers? Coercion? Seduction? Does he secretly share the same outlook as his disbelieving victim? Or is he out to prove a point about the necessity of love in the world?
Make up your own God of Love, or surprise me with any of the existing Gods from world mythology!
Little-known male rock singer/His #1 fan who is a famous male actor
I love this trope irrationally. So maybe the rock singer is still struggling to make his way in the industry. Instead of being easily swayed into trading off his good looks (think pop idol, maybe?), he’s struggling to get by on Artistic Integrity. And while he isn’t doing too badly, he’s got doubts about whether this will all last past the next 5 years.
Until, that is, he acquires said #1 fan who buys all his records and merch and books out the entire front row at his small-venue gigs, but who never shows up in person. How do they proceed from there?
King/His New Male Concubine
King/Male Assassin Sent to Kill Him
I see these as basically two sides to the same prompt, if that makes sense. Perhaps the King has been persuaded by a former enemy to accept the gift of a new concubine, but -- in the best dramatic tradition -- it turns out that said male concubine is actually a deadly assassin sent to kill him!
If you’d rather not go down this route, consider:
New Male Concubine is the youngest son of an Aristocratic Family and hates that his life is about to be ruined just so his family can advance at court, until he meets the King, who is more than he expected
Male Assassin used to be the King’s best friend, until Circumstances led to his exile and now that he’s faced with this impossible task, he is unsure of how to proceed
These are obviously all just suggestions, so please don’t feel bound by them! That’s the beauty of Original Works, after all.
